Second Trimester Workouts You Can Do Anywhere

This post is sponsored by Pink Blush. All opinions and content are honest and my own. ❤

THE MINI APARTMENT - second trimester workouts you can do anywhere - sponsored by Pink Blush maternity clothes

Now that I’m in my second trimester (I’m 22 weeks now!), I’ve been devoting more time to working out and staying active. Whether it be going on walks outdoors or following fitness videos on YouTube, getting my sweat on is important to me to stay fit and healthy throughout this second pregnancy.

Only thing is, I was in desperate need of updating my active wear with pieces that actually fit. I’m growing a lot faster this time around, and my previous workout clothes from being pregnant with izzy were a bit snug and constricting, making it hard to get motivated to workout.

So when Pink Blush reached out to me to do a collaboration on dressing the bump, I was so excited to see what I could put together from their selection of trendy maternity clothes! I decided to go with maternity fitness clothing since it’s been a real struggle for me to find quality workout pieces that fit properly, were flattering, and stayed put while working out.

The Best Non Maternity Clothing To Wear During Pregnancy

Maternity clothing that checks off all the boxes: actually stylish, flattering, fits well, AND can be worn throughout your entire pregnancy? That’s hard to come by! Finding stylish and flattering clothing to wear during the majority of your pregnancy is possible – you just have to think outside the box and hunt for those perfect versatile pieces!

I’ve rounded up some of the best non-maternity clothing to wear during pregnancy that are flattering, at great price points, and are versatile to wear before/during/and after pregnancy! I own many of these items (or similar ones) myself. A lot of you have been asking to see some maternity fashion over here, so I’m hoping to show more how I dress the bump the further along we get 🙂

What’s important to know before shopping non-maternity clothing

While you’re pregnant – depending on your body  – your size will most likely change (sometimes drastically). And if it does, you will have to modify your clothing size to accommodate your growing bump. Normally, I am a pant size 2/size small in tops, but with both pregnancies I’ve gone up about 3-4 sizes in my bust, hips, and waist.

So mama-to-be, don’t get discouraged when “nothing fits” from your pre-pregnancy closet anymore. Remember that your body is doing an amazing and intense thing by growing a tiny human! And after your baby is out, it will take some time for your body to adjust and shrink down. Just breathe, learn to acclimate, and embrace your new mom bod! ❤ PS: Totally preaching this to myself, too!

Why This Woman’s Watch Has Turned Into My Ultimate Accessory

this post is in collaboration with Jord Watches. All opinions are honest, authentic, and my own. ❤

If there’s something I wish I had more of, it’s time. I never really felt the weight of “time being a thief” until I became a mother! After that, I quickly realized how fast our little ones grow up and how hard it is to stay present minded with them. Everything became more simple and more focused on making the most of my hours spent at home + and my hours spent on work.

what makes this watch different

It’s so easy to lose track of how much time we spend plugged into tech. As much as I can, I want to not reach for my phone to tell me something as simple as the time – because it’s easy to check it, and then stay on it from getting distracted by my apps and notifications. That said, I was so excited when Jord Watches reached out to me for a partnership! Continue reading

29 Things I Want To Do Before I Turn 30

Turning 30 won’t happen until April 2019, but I actually am really looking forward to this new decade of my life. My 20s were full of crazy and fun adventures but also hold a lot of heartbreak and bittersweet memories. I spent 2/3 of my 20s getting my college degrees, dating the best and the worst types of guys, getting tattoos, making friendships and losing friendships, and worked a total of 9 different jobs (usually 2-3 jobs at a time). I also moved to a different state, bought my first car and ran her to the ground, bought a second car (brand new this time), moved to Washington, moved back to California, got married, and had a baby. You guys, I have memories of riding the bus to middle school thinking that high school seemed so far away. And then again in high school, I couldn’t even imagine being in college…I also thought 25 was “old” and all I wanted in the world was to get my belly button pierced. My how things have changed since then! It’s so weird to look back on those years and realize how much time and life has gone by.  Continue reading
