It was the best day ever in the world (besides the day we got engaged, of course!). For years, I had dreams of what my wedding day would look like when the time came – and meeting John turned those dreams into reality. When we started planning our wedding day, we knew wanted the whole day and everything in it to be one big reflection of US: a combination of how we met, our favorite colors, our favorite things, both of our styles, and our love for each other. I made it a personal goal of mine to DIY the majority of our wedding – I really wanted to create a unique DIY wedding style that focused on implementing our favorite bright colors, fun florals, and mixed textures for a spring and color-filled boho theme. It took a lot of creativity, strategic planning, and countless hours prepping and crafting on my end along the way but our efforts totally paid off in the end and gave us a beautiful, whimsical, colorful spring wedding that we will remember for the rest of ever.
We are so honored to have our wedding featured on all kinds of weddings blogs, and even on the front page of the wedding section in San Diego’s city’s newspaper! Thank you very much Becca in sharing with us in a short snippet of the best day in your life. I love your description on how you thought of a DIY wedding style filled with colors, florals and textures pertaining to both your likings and spring. It has been very beautifully culminated and filled with love.
