How to effortlessly plan a themed birthday party

I love planning parties and events! I DIY’d my entire wedding, styled/planned my own bridal shower and baby shower themes, and have hosted several parties like Christmas Cookie Exchanges and Girls’ Nights. So you better believe I couldn’t wait to plan a fun first birthday party for my daughter! The theme I went with was “A Swan Soiree” with touches of light pink, yellow,  and mint. Styled Wedding Inspiration for the Modern Boho Bride

A month ago, we got to be a part of a super fun styled shoot at the La Jolla Women’s Club in La Jolla, CA. The funny thing was, that when we were asked to be the models for this shoot I was just telling John how much I loved our wedding day and how I wished we could have a chance to relive it – lucky for us, that wish came true! And was beautifully captured by Bree & Stephen Photography.

Our own wedding had a very bright, springtime, bohemian feel which was a lot different than the styled shoot we were a part of. It was a lot of fun to see myself in a different dress and theme than I chose for my own big day. This styled shoot was dripping in modern ethereal details with hints of blush, rose gold, and lush greenery. No detail was overlooked, as it should be on a bride’s perfect wedding day. For a complete list of vendors all local to San Diego, scroll down to the bottom of this post. But, take your time drooling over these gorgeously styled photos along the way to pin inspiration for your own big day! 😉
