Casual-Chic Office Style

I am THRILLED to announce I just got my first official, salaried, full time, my-own-desk-and-phone job. If you don’t know by now, I LOVE pattern mixing, wearing brights, and putting twists on trends. I’ve been playing around with some fun office-chic fashion, and I’ve decided I need to do some minor shopping to keep up with my boss’ fashion sense. My boss is SO stylish and wears something new literally every single day. Her fashion is SO on point! I haven’t seen her wear an outfit twice yet (though she has mixed and matched various pieces into different outfits). Using her as my fashion inspo, I’ve been thinking up outfits that are both professional yet fun, colorful and modest, and allow me to move around a ton because I work with kids half the time. Here’s what I wore my first few days:

^ My favorite blue floral shirt (see how I’ve styled it before in this post), skinny H&M polka dot pants, clutch purse from I don’t even know where (I’ve had it for years) and yellow suede heels.

^ Pink blouse from Nordstrom, skirt from Francesca’s, necklace from H&M a few years ago, and yellow heels again. Also in tow: my work calendar, tassels from Stick & Stone Co. to be shipped out, and my trusty water bottle.

^ This was a slightly more casual outfit. Lucky brand zip up skinny cords, sandals from Target, blouse from Forever21, Cardigan from Nordstrom, and bag from Francesca’s.

I’ve also decided that I need more flats. I really like these Halogen flats, these cute flamingo ones, and how fun are these Soludos slippers!! Do any of you have any cubicle fashion pointers? I’d love to hear them!
